Welcome to Katsuko Akitas & Border Collies
We are a small kennel based in the Northwest of England.
We have owned dogs for over twenty years but have been showing Akitas at Championship Show level for the last three.
We believe we are the only kennel in the country competing in Championship Breed Shows, Obedience Shows and Agility Competitions with Akitas.
When we where introduced to the Akita breed it was just love at first sight.
The Akitas are large, powerful, alert, with much substance and heavy bone.
Our dogs are pets as well as show dogs, they are raised within the home environment and surrounded by normal family life. This gives them an excellent temperament and makes them a brilliant companion.
We truly believe that a trained dog is a happy dog. That is why all our dogs take the KC Good Citizen Awards and receive training in Obedience and Agility.
