Kennel Club - Good Citizen Award
The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme is the largest dog training scheme in the United Kingdom.
Its main aim is to promote responsible dog ownership.
The Scheme aims to produce a dog that will walk and behave in a controlled manner, will stay in one position on command, will allow its owner to clean, groom and inspect it. The dog must also be able to be positioned by its handler for inspection and the dog must come to hand when called.
The Scheme has three levels Bronze, Silver and Gold.
Kyle passed his Bronze on the 22nd of July 2008 and his Silver on the 1st of November 2008.
We are now training for our Gold and taking classes in obedience.
